Besam Introduces MicroShield Antimicrobial Coating

Besam Entrance Solutions is exited to introduce an antimicrobial coating called MicroShield.

MicroShield is an imperceptible antimicrobial coating. MicroShield uses proven silver-based technology from Agion®, a leading and respected provider of anti-microbial solutions, to stem the spread of bacteria and other microbes. MicroShield is effective against a broad range of germs including: bacteria, mold, mildew, algae and fungi.  Bacteria and other microbes can live on hardware surfaces for hours, transferring from one person to another. MicroShield coatings help prevent this spread of bacteria.

MicroShield is a silver-based hardware/door finish that continuously destroys organisms in three ways – by attacking the cell wall, interrupting metabolism and preventing reproduction. It is effective, natural, safe (EPA approved) and long-lasting.
